Kick Butts Day Essay

All three grades have been assigned an essay for "empowering youth and adults to live tobacco free" from the Chester County Tobacco-Free Coalition.  There are three topics they may choose from and resources are available online for research.  The essay needs to be one to two typed pages, double-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman font.  At the top of the first page, the following information needs to be included:  essay topic (type out the number and the topic question), student name, school and grade, and contact information (home phone number and parent email address).

The entry needs to be submitted by email both to me and to the Chester County Tobacco-Free Coalition by Friday, March 6:  cctfc@chesco.org and hfelterbcs@gmail.com.

If the student wants to have me edit for them, they must give it to me no later than Friday, February 27.

Your child has a packet that has all the details and the rubric by which the essay will be graded.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me.  I look forward to reading the essays and hope some of our students win and are able to read their essays in public on March 18.
